As we move into the early stages of spring, I wanted to check in and, at the same time, provide an update on the current state, stock levels, and incoming stock.
Every day, we can be confronted with challenging situations and choices. One thing I am often reminded of is how we respond is a choice, and that response can either feed the things that build you and others up or tear them down. In saying that, I hope this finds you well and that 2024 has gotten off to a good start for you and yours.
We have had to do some work to keep our pricing stable. We constantly face the reality of cost increases on materials and shipping. At this time, I am happy to report that we have maintained our prices without any price increases.
The world of logistics & manufacturing has largely stabilized, meaning we aren’t seeing the same degree of delays and disruption that we did over the past four years. Delays still happen, and what we see now worldwide is the effect of labor on local markets.
Last year, we changed our buying strategy to sit with enough stock to withstand disruptions and delays that would inevitably occur. While no plan is perfect and without error, our plan worked, and we will continue to adjust and adapt to demand to improve it.
We are preparing to receive our spring shipment in the coming weeks. Once that happens, we will be up over a 97% in stock rate. Our goal is to improve that even further.
